Who We Are
Leak Detection Las Vegas is a leak detection business serving the Las Vegas Valley in Clark County, Nevada. We operate the website at https://leak-detection-lasvegas.com.
Questions about this policy go to the privacy email address listed in the How to Reach Us section at the bottom of this page.
What Information We Collect
We collect four kinds of information.
Information you give us when you call. When you phone to book a visit, we may ask for:
- your name
- your phone number
- your email address (optional)
- the property address or ZIP code
- the type of leak you suspect
- your water provider
- whether you received a notice from the LVVWD, and the date of that notice
- the property type
- whether water is leaking right now
- anything else you want us to know
- whether you agree to receive text messages
Information you give us by email. If you write to us, we keep what you tell us so we can answer and plan the visit.
Information collected automatically by Google Analytics 4. When you browse the site, GA4 records which pages you view, your approximate location (city level, not your street), your device and browser type, the site that sent you here and how you interact with pages, such as tapping a phone link.
Server logs kept by our host. Our hosting provider records your IP address and the time of each request. These logs keep the site running and help block abuse.
We do not take payments on this website, so we never collect card or bank details here.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to:
- answer your call and schedule the visit
- contact you by phone, email or text message about that visit (text only if you gave consent)
- understand how people use the site so we can fix problems and make pages clearer
- keep a record of the calls we receive and the visits we make
- comply with the law and respond to lawful requests from authorities
We do not sell your personal information.
Text messages. We send texts only after you agree to them when we speak with you.
Security. We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including HTTPS across the whole site and limited access to the details you give us. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise information sent to us will never be accessed without permission.
Third Parties Who Process Your Data
Two service providers handle data for us:
- Vercel hosts the website. It receives IP addresses and server log data.
- Google provides Analytics 4 and Search Console. It receives the browsing data GA4 collects.
Beyond these providers, we share your information only to provide the service you asked for, when the law requires it, or when we need to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, the public or our business.
Data Retention
We keep the details you give us when booking for as long as we need them to respond, schedule the visit and keep a record of the work, and for as long as any law requires us to keep them.
Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting in our Google Analytics 4 account.
